WOW specializes in highly flexible design using “Tsukiita”, veneer.
Tsukiita is a traditional technique developed in Europe to bring out the beauty of wood grain, and is a technique with a long history and tradition.
WOW’s furniture, which makes full use of veneer, is the embodiment of our desire to “make the most of finite trees as trees of value”.
WOW furniture has won many awards, but this is only because its design has evoked an emotional resonance.
WOW has commercialized many of the works of IFDA designers and has introduced them to the world.
The International Furniture Design Competition Asahikawa (IFDA) is a major event that has attracted the attention of designers from around the world since its establishment in 1990.
Nurtured by the passion of its pioneers, IFDA has established itself as a place to discover and nurture young talent.
To date, nearly 10,000 pieces of work have been collected from 77 countries around the world, and the numerous designs that have emerged have opened up new possibilities for Asahikawa furniture.

Winner of the New Classic Award and Good Design Award, this is an iconic piece of WOW.
